Process of Implementation
The project began with an inspection of the existing garden structure to assess its condition and suitability for conversion. Preparation works were carried out to strengthen internal surfaces and improve protection against moisture and temperature changes.
Internal framing and insulation were installed to enhance comfort and usability. Electrical preparation and internal finishing works followed, creating a clean and organised environment suitable for desk-based work and storage needs.
Finishing stages focused on internal surfaces and detailing to ensure the space was practical, low-maintenance, and ready for immediate use.
Overcoming Challenges
The main challenge was upgrading the garden structure for regular use while working within its existing footprint. This was managed through efficient insulation methods and careful internal layout planning to maximise usable space.
Project Outcome
The garden room conversion was completed successfully, delivering a quiet, functional space suitable for home working and storage. The finished room provided added flexibility to the property, and the client was pleased with the comfort and usability of the converted space.
