Process of Implementation
The project began with an internal assessment of the existing unit to identify layout requirements and refurbishment priorities. Based on the agreed scope, internal strip-out works were carried out to prepare the space for new partitions and finishes.
Partition walls were installed to define functional areas within the unit, followed by ceiling works and preparation for new flooring. Each stage was sequenced to allow trades to work efficiently while maintaining site organisation and safety.
Final stages included flooring installation and finishing works, ensuring the unit was delivered in a clean, ready-to-use condition suitable for immediate occupation.
Overcoming Challenges
A key challenge was coordinating refurbishment works within a shared commercial building where access and working hours were restricted. This was managed through planned working schedules and controlled deliveries to minimise disruption to neighbouring units.
Project Outcome
The refurbishment was completed successfully, delivering a functional and well-finished commercial space. The upgraded layout, new flooring, and ceiling works improved usability and presentation. The client was satisfied with the quality of work and efficient project delivery.
